China Railway Beijing Bureau launches Qingming holiday transportation, expected to send 7.37 million passengers

On April 3rd, it was reported that the railway transportation period during the Qingming Festival holiday in 2026 will be from April 3rd to April 7th, a total of 5 days. China Railway Beijing Group Co., Ltd. (CRRC Beijing) is coordinating transportation resources and optimizing service measures to fully meet the diversified travel needs of passengers, such as visiting relatives, attending festivals, going on outings, and traveling. China Railway Beijing Bureau expects to send 7.37 million passengers, a year-on-year increase of 5.9%.  

In response to the travel needs of passengers during holidays, China Railway Beijing Bureau has dynamically implemented the "one map per day" policy, arranging 124.5 pairs of trains on peak passenger lines. Among them, there are 60 pairs of long-distance peak passenger lines, mainly in the directions of Shenyang, Dalian, Taiyuan, Wuhan, Zhengzhou, Jinan, etc; There are 64.5 pairs of peak passenger lines in the Beijing Tianjin Hebei region, mainly in the directions of Tianjin, Baoding, Shijiazhuang, Handan, Qinhuangdao, Zhangjiakou, etc.  

In order to enrich the travel life and improve the travel experience, China Railway Beijing Bureau continued to optimize the Internet catering service, jointly with online merchants and high-speed trains to do a good job of passenger catering, ensure the quality of catering supply, and strengthen the distribution organization during peak passenger flow. 11 stations including Beijing Station, Beijing West Station, and Beijing South Station, as well as 39 trains operated by China Railway Beijing Bureau, have launched high-speed rail pet transportation services to enable passengers to carry their pets with them. In addition, 28 stations have set up convenient lockers at the entrance security checkpoints to facilitate the mailing of restricted items by passengers.
